America It’s Time To Dig In… Or Dig Harder
The video below, featuring Fred Thompson (yes, the actor), is somewhat cynical but it hits the “nail on the head” in terms of the foolishness of the current government bailout plans that are flying around Washington.
I love Fred’s job creation scheme. I guess what he is really trying to say is that we better stop digging this massive hole that we’re in if we want the economy to get better. Or perhaps the government will fill the holes. I’m hoping it will let us out first!
It Can and Will Get Worse, Eventually
Even though the idea of printing money seems like a a good idea, to some, the consequences of such reckless action can and will probably be devastating. You see inflation is the evil twin of deflation, and it comes with it’s own set of problems.
Even if we get through the current credit and economy crisis, we better all have a good plan for what’s coming down the road…
